Dependable systems. Original worlds.

BRSGS is an independent studio. We make original games, build websites, and keep those sites working after launch.

Position / 01

What we make

We make games. We build websites.

Games need strong ideas, satisfying mechanics, and plenty of testing. Websites need clear information, solid engineering, and dependable day-to-day support.

They are different kinds of work, and we treat them that way. What they share is a small team that pays attention, solves the real problem, and stays involved.

What we do / 02

Two kinds of work. One small studio.

Each gets its own process and tools. Both get direct attention from the people doing the work.

01 BRSGS / work

Websites & support

We build websites people can use and teams can actually maintain.

We can plan and build a new site, take over an existing one, or handle ongoing updates, performance, backups, and security. The work is scoped to what you actually need.

  • Site planning and content structure
  • Accessible, responsive design
  • Front-end and back-end development
  • CMS setup and content support
  • Performance, hosting, and releases
  • Updates, backups, and security
02 BRSGS / work

Original games

We make original games built around strong mechanics, atmosphere, and a clear point of view.

Our game work starts small and playable. We test the core idea, build the tools it needs, and expand only when the experience is worth pursuing.

  • Concept and game design
  • Gameplay programming
  • Playable prototypes
  • Interface and interaction
  • Development tools
  • Testing and iteration

Technical range / 03

Comfortable across the stack.

Most projects are not confined to one layer. A site may need a new front end, a cleaner CMS, a repaired integration, or a hosting setup untangled.

We can own one part of the job or the whole thing. We choose technology based on the project, the budget, and who will maintain it.

01AI

AI features & automation

We use AI where it saves real time or makes a product more useful. It needs clear limits, testing, and a person responsible for the outcome.

  • Assistants, agents, and copilots
  • Semantic search and recommendations
  • Document and workflow automation
  • Testing, safety checks, and monitoring
Tools we work with

OpenAI · Anthropic · RAG · Vector search · n8n

02Interfaces

Front-end engineering

Responsive, accessible interfaces that load quickly and stay easy to work on.

  • Responsive applications and websites
  • Design systems and component libraries
  • Accessibility and performance
  • Motion, Canvas, and WebGL experiences
Tools we work with

React · Next.js · Vue · Svelte · TypeScript · Web Components

03Applications

Back-end systems & APIs

APIs and application code that are organized, documented, and ready for real traffic.

  • Application structure and APIs
  • REST, GraphQL, and event-driven APIs
  • Authentication and authorization
  • Queues, jobs, and background processing
Tools we work with

Node.js · Python · PHP · .NET · Java · Headless architecture

04Content

Data, search & content

Databases, search, and content systems built around how information is created, found, and maintained.

  • Relational and document databases
  • Search, indexing, and caching
  • Headless and traditional CMS platforms
  • Migration and content operations
Tools we work with

PostgreSQL · MySQL · MongoDB · Redis · WordPress · Sanity

05Hosting

Cloud, edge & hosting

Hosting that fits the site's traffic, budget, and maintenance needs.

  • Cloud and edge setup
  • Containers and serverless workloads
  • Managed hosting and staging environments
  • Scaling, caching, and delivery networks
Tools we work with

AWS · Azure · GCP · Cloudflare · Vercel · Docker

06Delivery

DevOps, quality & delivery

Testing, deployment, and monitoring that make releases routine and recovery straightforward.

  • Automated builds and deployments
  • Automated tests and regression checks
  • Release, rollback, and change records
  • Monitoring and alerts
Tools we work with

GitHub Actions · Infrastructure as code · Testing · Observability

07Integrations

Commerce & integrations

Payments, accounts, email, CRM, and third-party services connected without turning the site into a maze.

  • Payments and ecommerce
  • CRM and marketing automation
  • Identity and access providers
  • Third-party and legacy integrations
Tools we work with

Stripe · Shopify · WooCommerce · HubSpot · Email · Identity

08Games

Game & real-time systems

Gameplay systems, prototypes, browser experiences, and tools for creating and testing content.

  • Gameplay and systems programming
  • Tools, pipelines, and content workflows
  • Networked and real-time experiences
  • Performance across target platforms
Tools we work with

Unity · Unreal · Godot · WebGL · Canvas · Custom tooling

09Security

Security & maintenance

Practical security work: sensible access, current software, reliable backups, and a plan for when something goes wrong.

  • User access and permissions
  • Patch and dependency management
  • Backup and recovery planning
  • Incident readiness and documentation
Tools we work with

IAM · OWASP practices · Monitoring · Recovery · Security review

How we choose tools We know a lot of technology. That is not the point. We choose what fits the job and leave behind a system your team can understand.

Talk through the project
Method / 04

How we work

A website still needs attention after it launches.

We learn what exists and what needs to change. Then we make a plan, build in stages, launch carefully, and stay available for the work that follows.

  1. 01

    Understand

Talk to the people involved, review the current site and content, and identify the real constraints before recommending a solution.

    People / content / systems / risks
  2. 02

    Plan

Turn what we learned into a practical scope, site structure, and clear plan for who owns what.

    Scope / structure / responsibilities
  3. 03

    Build

Build and test in stages so the team can review the work and there are no surprises at launch.

    Staging / testing / launch
  4. 04

    Support

Handle updates, fixes, monitoring, and improvements as the site and its audience change.

    Maintenance / reports / documentation

Website services / 05

Build it. Run it. Keep it safe.

A good website should be easy to use, easy to update, and easy to recover when something goes wrong.

Standard / 06

The basics matter

Accessible, clear, and built to last.

People use websites on old phones, slow connections, keyboards, screen readers, and everything in between. We account for that from the start.

01

Accessibility starts on day one.

We use semantic HTML, readable contrast, keyboard-friendly controls, flexible layouts, and restrained motion from the beginning.

02

The people running the site matter too.

Editors and administrators need clear workflows, useful documentation, and a site they can hand off without guesswork.

03

Security is routine work.

Strong access controls, timely updates, reliable backups, and clear records do more good than dramatic promises.

04

Keep it understandable.

Plain language, straightforward code, documented decisions, and clear ownership save time for everyone.

Implementation / 001

You can see our standards on this site.

This site uses semantic HTML, responsive layouts, keyboard-friendly navigation, reduced-motion support, and no advertising trackers. That is the baseline we bring to client work.

Small studio / 07

Work directly with the people doing the work.

BRSGS is small on purpose. The same people who plan the job build it, explain the decisions, and can support it after launch.

  • 01 Direct contact with the team
  • 02 Less lost in handoffs
  • 03 Code others can follow
  • 04 Clear documentation
Connection / 08 Project + ongoing engagements

Tell us about the project

What needs to work? Who needs it? What is getting in the way?

We take on new website builds, existing sites that need attention, ongoing maintenance, and select game or interactive projects.
